$15 Million For The Baby Photos?
TMZ is saying that the bidding war has begun for who will have the right to the first pictures of Brad and Angelina’s twins! The story says that OK! Magazine and People are in a bidding war, and that the price has gone up to $15 Million!!! People purchased the rights to Shiloh’s first pictures for a reported $4 Million dollars, and they also paid somewhere from $5 Million to $6 Million for the pictures of Jennifer Lopez’s twins. Would they pay $15 Million for photos of Brad and Angelina’s newest arrivals?
Of they do, you can be assured that Brad and Angelina will donate the profits, but how do you think they will donate them? I think it would be good if they split the money up and donated half the money to Brad’s charity of choice and the other half to Angelina’s charity of choice. I would imagine that $7.5 Million for the Make It Right campaign would go a long, long way. Where do you think Brad and Angelina should spend the money?

Well, TMZ is at it again. I don’t particularly like that site (although I admit I visit sometimes) as they are predominantly bashing everyone. Almost like they live to tell the really bad things about celebs.
As for the photos, I still have no real problem with them selling the rights to the photos of the babies and giving the profits to charity. The paparazzi will be all over trying to get photos of the babies otherwise if they don’t release official photos anyway, and it may even become dangerous for them and the kids. With all the hype around this family, these photogs will surely do whatever they can to have the scoop on the babies, and I really don’t think they would put too much priority on safety (neither of them or of the JPs), as its the money that they’ll make that will count. At least if they do something similar to when they released photos of Shiloh, then they can bring help to others. I can understand why some people might feel this is sort of like “pimping” their kids, but I don’t agree with that, since the idea is to give the money where it would give help.
Oh well, for now, all of this is just speculation again. I admit I’d love to see pictures of the twins when they come, but if the JPs choose to wait a while before they share them with the world, I’m fine with that. What I want for this family is for them to be happy and what will make them happy, I’m all for.
By the way, I’ve I’ve been visiting some sites, and saw a lot of comments about the Vanity Fair article. I’ve read it, and loved the quotes that came from Angie. It seems some people doesn’t like the article at all, but while I think it could’ve been better written, I don’t mind it as it is. I did find a comment in one of the jjb forums about the JPs that sums up what I think pretty well, so hope you (and she) don’t mind my quoting it here:

There was also some bashing about the part where the writer was supposed to have implied that Angie “stole” Brad away, but I also think that it was just his way of commenting on how the tabs have spun the stories about them.
Oh well, if only for Angie’s quotes (and the pretty pics), the article is worth reading.
