Brad Pitt Arrives in Cannes

People is reporting that Brad Pitt arrived in Cannes on Saturday by himself on Saturday.
I hate this. Oh don’t get me wrong, I’m positive that Angelina is either already there or flying in today or tomorrow, but what I hate is that the tabloids are going to have a field day with this. You just know that the tabloids are going to stay stuff like “Brad leaves Angie with the kids!”, ect.
While I love pics of the family as much as everyone else does, I absolutely hate when the tabloids use their name linked to lies to sell magazines.
At least none of us believe the stupid rumors, so we have that comfort!

No reason to fret Randi. Angie’s due in a day or two after Brad as she’s still working. But I’m sure you’re right - the press always has a field day with these sort of practical things… But that’s how they sell issues. But who cares really =)

It makes me really sad. Brad went there 5 days earlier without any kids or Angie. I doubt press run would be a week. I wonder why he left 5 days earlier without having any special reason for it. It can be only me but all these actions and all these recent pics of Brad in Chris’s show and later in NY alone and traveling alone to Cannes almost a week earlier make these break up rumors more believable. They , specially him has never acted like this in these past 4 years. It looks to me he enjoys his solo time more and more which is not really a good sign.

Sure Sunny, but then again - Brad did visit Angie while she was filming in Albany to watch the game with her… So it’s probably more likely that there are schedule-issues for Angie. As for Brad being there earlier - they’ve always got press junkets, interviews and promotional parties to attend ahead of the première…
Of course we never really know what’s going on :o) But no need to cry wolf yet.

Why on earth are you so worried? When Angelina spends alone time on her missions, you don’t think they are broken up. Brad seems to do alone time well and needs it. He is doing alot of work outside of the movies in his hometown. He has to do all of this while he is not on a movie because his time is controlled by his job. Remember when Angelina went to get Pax even though he wanted to go with her, he could not get off from work. This is not her movie, there is no need for her to take off work and hold up the crew to hold Brad’s hand while he smiles pretty for the people. She will come if she can, when she can. In the movie business more than any other “time is money”…lots of money.

quentin tarrantino also arrived in cannes on saturday, so it seems all the IB crew and cast had to report over the weekend. obviously angelina has un-able to do that, as angelina was working on saturday 16th. angelina cannot just swan-off with brad as she is legally required to be on the SALT set. if angelina can only get 2 days off instead of a week, it may aswell be the day of the premiere (wednesday) and either tuesday or thursday for a travelling day.
if brad is needed for 6/7 days and angelina can only make 2 then there is a scheduling conflict.
the only reason angelina is not in cannes just yet is because of work commitments, otherwise she would have been able to leave over the weekend like brad had to.

If you guys can go back and remember an old brad quote where he says the thing he despises the most is when two becomes one and he doesn’t have is individuality.People need to realize that both like their individuality as well as partnership and in the end it is better for a long lasting and satisfying relationship.

Where are the pics of Brad in Cannes Its Monday night in Cannes. No pics at the parties with Quentin and cast, no pics at the hotel,no pics at the airport.Where is the pic of balcony. Just because its in People doesn’t mean its true.According to twitter Angie was filming Sat possibly Sunday, she is the star of the movie.She can’t take a week off to promote Brad’s movie.Just wait until Brad does interviews to find out about Angie’s travel plans.

I would like to see Angelina with Brad in Cannes this week. Even though she has been busy set of movie, but she has to take 2 days vacation to enjoy with him right?

although people is reliable, it can make mistake sometimes. nobody really knows if Brad is really there in Cannes already or maybe it’s just another mistake, i mean there is no proof except for their so called sources so there is no need to worry yet. i would to love to see them together doing the RC in Cannes but if Angie wouldn’t be able to go, then it’s fine too considering her filming commitment. what i just don’t like is if Angie won’t be there is the tab - for sure they will push their “they’ve split rumors” non stop.

Seems this caused quite a stirr up…
On a different note though; I completely agree with Jackie as well… I’m very fond of my boyfriend, for example, but can’t stand being with him every single waking hour! I find it best when we can have our own time, be our own people and do our own things. Just because you’re together with a person doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to be joined at the hip ;oP
So however it may be with Brad actually being in Cannes or not/alone or not - it doesn’t have to signify anything negative.
Like everyone else in here though - I would still like to see Angie in some beautiful creation on the red carpet…

007 - I so agree with you. Brad may have flown to Cannes a few days earlier to do all those interviews and press junkets before the premiere on Wednesday. I´m cofident that Angie already is in Cannes or will be arriving late today (Tuesday evening) or tomorrow morning. She has a tight filming schedule and sure has gotten a couple of days of to be there by her man´s side. Like someone said this is Brad´s movie and he doesn´t need her to hold his hand all the time. Can´t wait to see them together on RC tomorrow. In that way they´ll show the whole world that they´re very much together. So eat your hearts out, rags! God bless Brad and Angie!

It’s possible she hasn’t been able to get time from work. They always try to arrange it, but even they admitted that there may come a time when it won’t be possible.
Life happens, it’s not the end of the world if she is not there this time.
AND People mag maybe the best of the lot BUT that does not mean they don’t report semi lies from worse tabloids. Their info, is apparently reliant on French Gala …

Let’s just be true fans and wait until Ann Curry’s interview. I think for once Ann Curry will do a good interview and if we know Brad he will be very direct. His family is under fire with all these rumors. I think he has had it.

I really believe in Brad and Angie´s relationship. They´re meant for each other. I hate all those lies that the rags have written lately but at the same time I´ve learnt to laugh at them. What a field day the rags will have IF Angie won´t show up beside her man tomorrow in Cannes for the premiere of Inglourious Basterds. But I really wish that she will. She has told in some interview that she can have a few days of in cases like this. And although IB is Brad´s movie she sure wants to be there by his side. In that way they´ll show the whole world that they still love each other a lot. They both sure are fed up with all those lies that have come up lately. But on the other hand they have said many times that they don´t read all that crap. BTW. New pics of Brad, Mad and Pax on JJ. Brad the dad took the boys to see Star Trek on Saturday (May 16).

When they’re seen together the same tabs will say it’s fake.
