Brad Pitt Watch

Apparently now that the paparazzi in France know where Brad and Angie are, they’re going to bug them as they do when they’re in the states, and while this makes me angry and annoys me, I can’t help but love these photos. Brad, Angelina, and all of the kids went for a walk near Bono’s home in the south of France on Sunday (I don’t know if it’s Sunday OUR time or THEIR time - I’m horrible with time zones). David Howell Evans, guitarist and back up vocalist for U2, was with them and had some fun playing with the kids in the sun and the sand. And let me say right now that I love Angie’s colorful dress - it looks beautiful and oh so comfortable - I want one!

Evans and Brad, being gentlemen, where right there, ready to lend a hand when Angie wanted to get up from her rocky perch. Zahara was hanging out with Mommy, Pax was getting tossed in the air and dumped in the ocean by Daddy, and Maddox was taking a dip in the water. Family fun looks to have been had by all!

So while I’m sad that they can’t have all of the private time that they love, I am happy to see that they’re looking happy and healthy and like they’re having a very relaxing vacation!

Brad and Angie were photographed with beautiful Princess Z taking a helicopter ride! A mysterious man with white hair tagged along and many believe that he was some sort of realtor/home owner taking Angie and Brad to look at an estate that they are considering purchasing in France. Who knows if that is true or not, but the one thing we know for sure is that Princess Z got some quality mommy and daddy time high up in the sky and that everybody looks great!

France has some pretty strict laws about what the paparazzi are and are not allowed to do. Apparently, however, some member of the paparazzo were able to get some shots of Angie, Brad, and the kiddos at their villa in France. I feel bad putting these up, but I am very happy that it looks like they are enjoying themselves. And does Brad go nowhere without his hat? It also looks like we get to see pics of the new Nanny…I’ve never seen her before, have you?

And have you seen the villa they’re stying in? Oh lord I’d LOVE to just tour it, let alone stay in it!

Oh sweet George. Okay, I may be one of the few people in the world who doesn’t think he’s the most attractive man alive (Sorry girls! Brad is definitely hotter), but he has a sense of humor and wit that makes me laugh every time. His eyes light up with mischief and you can see that, inside, he’s got a 12 year old little boy who love to pull pranks.

He also cares about the world, and showed once again that he’s the most loyal of friends by writing this article for Time’s 100 Heroes and Pioneers.

It is one thing to talk about the problems of the world and quite another to actually try to change things.

Oh Gwyneth, Gwyneth, Gwyneth. You know that eventually we were going to have some paparazzo or interviewer ask Gywneth about her feelings on Brad’s family, and it has happened.

OK! Magazine caught up with her at the premiere of Iron Man and asked if she had any well wishes for Brad and his newest unborn family member. Her answer?

“No!”

Looks like I spoke too soon about there being no news! Just Jared has a story up saying that Brad and Angie are actually in France right now! The story says that they are staying at Microsoft cofounder Paul Allen’s Villa Maryland in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat on the French Riviera, where they are being waited on hand and foot (can I come too?).

They apparently arrived in France Monday evening.

The word through Just Jared is that the family is going to be spending time together this month, enjoying each other before the round of press junkets begins for their movies.

An over-eager photog who apparently has a very long lens has now let us in on one more Pitt secret.

Brad likes Fruit of the Loom.

Brad was spotted on Sunday driving to the Walt Disney Studios (not quite sure what he was doing there, but when I figure it out I’ll let you know!) on his beautiful bike. The long lens of the photographer picked up the stars favorite choice of underwear as well as a hint of his back tattoo.

Things have been quiet in the press, but Brad and the family have been busy! On Thursday they snuck off to Shawnee, OK, in order to visit Brad’s grandmother on her birthday. The family came and left on their private plane, giving the paparazzi no opportunity to take photos.

Perusing MSNBC.com this morning (because its got way more information about the world than any of my local papers), I fell across this article. It was a survey done to see if celebrity appearances actually encourages normal people like you and me to care about their chairty. Basically, will we give money or donate our time due to celebrities making appearances? And do the celebrities really care about the causes that they are promoting?

49% of the people polled saw Oprah Winfrey as the leader of causes. Up next was Bono, with 32% of the vote. Right behind the famous musician was Angelina Jolie, who garnered 31% of the vote, and Brad followed up his leading lady with 23% of the vote, with his famous friend, George Clooney, right behind him with 22% of the vote.

I find this survey to be extremely interesting, and it makes me very proud of Angelina and Brad! Look at it this way: Angie has been very active in fundraising and in helping children for a very long time. Brad was quieter about his charities until recently, and he’s almost even with Angelina now. Put the two together and you’ve got an unstoppable celebrity force who can accomplish miracles for those who need it most.

Just imagine what would happen if Oprah, Bono, Angie, Brad, and George all threw their backing behind one specific project. Mountains could be moved easily.

Every morning I do a search to see if Brad and Angie have been spotted lately, and other than the movie show they took in the other day, things have been pretty quiet. Brad’s still working on his movie and Angie’s still taking her turn with the kiddos and, hopefully, taking very good care of herself and everyone.

So what do we look at when Brad and Angie are successfully eluding the paparazzi? Old Brad photos, of course! I just found these and have to say that I love them. The one where he’s cross-legged (is it just me, or did the school used to call it Indian style when I was young? Now the school system calls it “criss-cross applesauce).

Oh Brad, you’ve been adorable since day one, just like all of your kiddos!

Looks like Brad and Angie took the kiddos to the movie theater the other day!

Guesses around the net are that they took Zahara, Maddox, and Pax to see either Horton Hears a Who or Nim’s Island. I’m guessing, since they brought Zahara, that it was Horton Hears a Who.

“But where is Shiloh?” Everyone is asking where the smallest Jolie-Pitt is. My guess? At home taking a nap. Have you ever tried to bring a toddler to the movie theater? No.Thank.You. Little ones don’t have the patience to sit through a whole movie, and they shouldn’t!

It doesn’t mean, however, that the family doesn’t veg out occasionally and watch a movie at home with everyone. Add in a bit of popcorn and some snacks and you’ve got a great family evening!

Just plain and simple pics! While the flu bug rages through our household, I’ve managed to steal a few hours away from tending to my sick seven year old in order to catch up with our favorite family!

Looks like Brad and Angie got out with the three oldest children yesterday. They stopped at a Shell for some snacks and a few other stores!

Looks like Maddox is learning how to spend/save his own money! He walked out of a GameStop (one of my favorite stores) with a package and his wallet! I wonder what game he bought! If he’s a Nintendo/Mario fan, hopefully it’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl - that game is seriously awesome.

Looks like Angie, on the other hand, stopped at a GNC. We don’t have those around here - do they sell prenatal vitamins at a GNC? She looks absolutely stunning and extremely healthy! Enjoy the photos Jolie-Pitt fans!

I dragged myself from my sick bed this morning to see what is going on in Brad and Angie’s world (I’m feeling much better, thank you for the well-wishes!) and found out that everyone thinks that Brad and Angelina have wed?! See! Every time I escape for a day something big happens.

Of course we all know that this particular photo was from Mr. & Mrs. Smith

Star swears that Brad and Angelina are married. That they brought the kids to New Orleans where they wed in a small church in the French Quarter, and that they are going back to Texas immediately due to Brad’s filming schedule.

People, however, says that “it just ain’t so” – they have an “inside source” who says that there was no wedding in New Orleans, and that the couple has not left Austin, Texas since the other week.

OK Magazine is saying that the rep replied that she had “no idea” if the couple were married or not.

I usually don’t give these rumors any credence, but this time it seems to be a pretty big story. I have contacted his publicist and am waiting to hear back in order to confirm or deny these rumors, and while I’m expecting her to deny them, knowing this impulsive couple, I wouldn’t be too surprised if she confirmed it either!

Anyone who wants some more beautiful shots of Angie and Maddox in the airport in Texas, please raise your hand! I do, I do! Fortunately I’m Not Obsessed fed my obsession by posting a few more pics of Angie and Maddox sans watermarks – thanks guys!! These photos are absolutely beautiful!

Apparently Angie just took a quick hop to New York, and then jumped back on a jet plane and headed back to be with Brad and the rest of the kids. I’m also wondering if the big man who is carrying her bags is her new security guard or an airline employee who was giving her a hand? I’m not sure yet, but I’ll keep my eyes out for him!

The lovely dlisted also has a good story up about…Sheryl Crow?

According to dlisted, Sheryl Crow has said that Jennifer Aniston was the one to dump Brad! Huh?!

Sheryl is quoted as saying: “For both of us, the perceived idea is that, in our big relationships, we both got dumped. Believe me, this is not true. Neither one of us has ever gotten dumped. No one ever knows what goes on in relationships. Unfortunately, for some people like Jennifer and me, so much is written about things that you don’t say, and so many emotions are attributed to you that you haven’t had.”

Even more, The National Enquirer has a “friend” of Jen’s say saying: “Once Jen saw the writing on the wall, she dumped Brad. She took a cold, hard look at her marriage and realised it was irretrievably broken. She and Brad had vastly different personal agendas and feelings about love, career and having a family.”

I guess its possible, right? I mean, Jen definitely could have chosen to break up with Brad…why she would do that, I have no idea, but it’s possible!

Angie didn’t stay in Texas long - her duties as ambassador lead her to travel to New York the other day. She headed out from Texas in a beautiful pink dress (a color that we’re NOT used to seeing on her), and then dropped by to talk business when she was in New York with a black overcoat. JustJared is reporting that Wanted is filming in New York this week, but I’d be very surprised if Angie was doing any acting, other than voice-overs, in her condition!

So now that the paparazzi have learned that they are right about the pregnancy, they are trying to make more rumors come true! Behold the latest rumor (avoid the Adnan and Britney crap)

Yup, NOW they’re saying that Brad has proposed. As much as I would love them to oficially get married, I am completely fine with them NOT getting married! They’re a family, and as long as everyone is happy, that’s all that matters!

The same site also has another post saying that the two are expecting another daughter, and that Angie is planning on having her baby in France in order to honor her mother.

I’m going to go off on a little rant here - I’ve heard Angie and Brad’s name quite a bit lately, and it is ANNOYING me to no living end when they say something like this, “the couple have a daughter, Shiloh, and three adopted children, Maddox, Pax, and Zahara”

THEY ARE ALL THEIR CHILDREN! Get over the adopted thing!! My husband is adopted, and he will be the first to tell you that his adoptive parens are his parents, nothing else. I will promise you right here and now that you will never hear me call any of their children adopted. Maddox, Pax, and Zahara are all their children of the heart, and are as much theirs as Shiloh is, and that is all that matters.
