You know you’re getting close to seeing all of the stars from the movie when the director has begun to hit the red carpets.

Quentin Tarantino appeared at a movie premiere of Precious last night at the Cannes Film Festival, and you know that if Quentin is there, Brad is sure to be there soon!

Inglourious Basterds (I STILL have issues spelling that) is due to appear on the 20th, which means that they’ll have to be there no later than the 19th, and I’m hoping that they’ll pop into the city a few days before that. Maybe they’ll even fly over this weekend? Who knows!!

I tried to explain to my husband the other day why I’m so excited for Cannes. He didn’t get it. “You see Angie and Brad at red carpet events all the time - why is Cannes so special?”

Why is Cannes so special?! I know, I need to cut him some slack - he’s not a huge Brad and Angie fan.

Why don’t you guys help me explain this to him - why do we all look forward so much to seeing Brad and Angie at Cannes?

There’s really no new information out there right now, aside from the classic “the couple is separating” rumors, which are absolutely stupid (I saw one magazine in the grocery store that showed the photo of Brad and the boys when they were going to Niagra falls with the caption “Brad and Angie split - Brad calls in parents to help with the children!” or something stupid like that - yes, it was moronic.)

One of the other sites I run is the Watching House website, and after the post I had yesterday connecting Til Schweiger with Angelina Jolie (they acted together in Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life) I figured that maybe we could have a little fun today trying to connect some other actors with Brad and Angie in seven steps or less. What do you think these guys said to their buddies after shooting this scene on Saturday (apparently they’re either finishing filming the scene or re-filming it) - do you think they said something like: “I got to film with Angelina. Yeah, Angelina Jolie. Wow - she’s so gorgeous. She was sweet and funny and totally unpretentious. She was laughing with us and goofing around - she didn’t act anything like I thought a Hollywood A-list actress would act like. We laughed around with her the whole shoot, and she kept pointing out the paparazzi and waving to them just for the heck of it. Yup, that Brad Pitt’s a lucky, lucky man.”

Or do you think it went more like: “uuunnnggghh…filmed with super-hot Angelina Jolie. Funny. Sweet. HOT. Uuuunnnggghhhh….”

Cause that last part? That would totally be all that I would be capable of saying…

Wow have I had a few days, guys - by the way: be careful of any Pyrex baking ware that you use. I had a Pyrex dish that I’ve owned for a few years blow up in my hand yesterday while I was taking it out of the oven! Thankfully my kids weren’t in the kitchen because the glass blew 8 feet out from the stove! My left hand is he only injured one, making it difficult to type, but I’ll trudge on! Anyway, PLEASE be careful if you use Pyrex bake ware, okay?

Onto Angie and Brad - Angelina got arrested during filming! Okay, I’m sure it was actually Evelyn Salt that was arrested and not Angie, but these photos look great. I’m guessing from the dust that is covering both Angie’s character and the policemen who are escorting her that something big either collapsed or blew up. And her character is definitely not going down without a fight.

While Angie is busy filming, Brad is apparently slated to film a romantic comedy with none other than Star Wars beauty Natalie Portman. According to the story, Natalie read Important Artifacts and Personal Property from the Collection of Lenore Doolan and Harold Morris, Including Books, Street Fashion, and Jewelry by Leanne Shapton and decided that she wanted to make the movie.

She brought the idea of the film to Brad, and now his company, Plan B, and her company, Handsomecharlie Films, will be producing the movie together. And as of right now the story is that Brad will be playing the male lead and Natalie will be playing the female lead in this romantic comedy!

Brad - romantic comedy - be still my beating heart! How do you think these two will pair up onscreen?

The show starts and out comes Brad!

OPRAH:: Okay, so, let me just say this to you everybody. We’re taping this show the day after Barack Obama became president elect of the US. So I recognize it’s later in the month but this is actually Nov 4th, and we’re still vibrating.

BRAD: And we woke up to a new world.

OPRAH:: Brad was here in Chicago last night at the rally. I was going to the rally and I knew I was just going to be out with the people. I heard you were going to be in town and I was going to invite you to go but I thought, ‘well brad doesn’t want to be out with a thousand people’.

BRAD: the rally was an incredible experience. I wouldn’t have missed it. Got on the tram with everyone, shoulder to shoulder.

OPRAH:: Shoulder to shoulder – you couldn’t move!

BRAD: an epic event.

OPRAH:: well let me just tell you. Brad has a fascinating new movie that’s getting tons of buzz, it’s called the CCBB and it is - I’ve never seen a movie like this before. It’s the most unique and interesting new movie I ever remember seeing. It opens Christmas day and what did you think, Audience? Wasn’t it great? Somebody had to tell me, ‘you know that’s brad” and I was like an hour into the movie and I’m like, “that’s not Brad”

BRAD: Kind of, yeah, it’s kind of brad. With a lot of help from CG and David Fincher. They basically took all the CG that’s used to sink ships and blow up building sand kill monsters and took it to age the character from 80’s down to baby. The premise is he’s born old and grows backwards, all the way down to a baby.

OPRAH:: Brad ages backwards in this movie. He starts at 80 years old. It’s stunning. How do they do that? I want to see a movie about the movie. Then reverts into a teenager. Its so interesting too how your voice and movements and all that, and I was thinking how amazing, and then again, that is called acting.

BRAD: That is called acting. That’s what we do, that is what we get paid for.

OPRAH: Yeah. So I wanna talk extensively about that. But right now I want talk about you.

BRAD: Okay.

OPRAH: Because it’s been 4 years since you were here.

BRAD: Is that right?

OPRAH: Yeah! And what a difference four years can make.

BRAD: What a difference. Yeah.

OPRAH: So, since you were here, you’ve become the proud father of not 1 but 6 children. In four years – six children Brad!

BRAD: It is true. Actually within three years.

OPRAH: Three years, six children.

BRAD: Two a year.

OPRAH: Two a year. And will there be more?

One of Brad’s co-stars is coming out to talk about how amazing Brad and Angelina are as parents, and how down-to-earth they are.

Taraji P. Henson, Brad’s co-star from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, says that she believes that Brad and Angie are great parents.

On Wednesday she spoke about the couple and their family at Sean “Diddy’ Combs’ birthday bash to PEOPLE magazine.

“There are some parents who are meant to be parents of multiple [children]. They were chosen. We all know that he is an incredible artist, but he really is a great person and a great father.”

She even talked about when Angelina visited the set. “She had Shiloh, and [Brad] grabbed my hand and was like, ‘Taji, Taji, come over here and meet Angie. Come and meet Angie,’” she recounts. “He was dragging me and I [thought], ‘These are the coolest, most real and most down-to-earth people.’ ”

I’m not sure why, but for some reason I haven’t seen these yet! I love these photos of Brad and his co-stars hanging around, which is exactly what it looks like they’re doing! The film is still doing amazingly well across the globe, and is sure to be an even bigger success once it goes onto DVD! I haven’t gotten the chance to see it yet - my local little theater doesn’t have it in, but I’m definitely getting it when it comes out on DVD - it looks hilarious!

So this morning I was getting my daughter ready for preschool when I happened to click on the Today show. Who did I see? ANGELINA! A later check of my Inbox shows that one of my readers had left a message about Angelina being on the show - apparently I need to check my Inbox faster in the morning. I caught the tail end of the interview - about 8 or so minutes worth, but I did hear enough to confirm that

Angelina and Brad Will Be Adopting Again Sometime Soon!

She did say during the interview that they won’t be doing anything until the twins are 6 months old, so that they can see exactly what type of family dynamic there is going to be, but she also said that they already have a place picked out to adopt from! She didn’t say where, however, but I’m just happy in knowing that the two have decided to continue to expand their family.

I haven’t found a YouTube of the Today show interview with Matt Lauer yet, but when I find one, I’ll put it up immediately.

I can tell you a few things she said during the interview, however:

- She doesn’t see them staying in one place anytime soon, and feels that the kids will dictate when it’s time to settle in one home.
- They haven’t found one area that they consider to be “HOME” yet.
- They want the kids to be able to continue to enjoy traveling and making new friends as they are doing now.
- They are working to ensure that their children are grateful for the things that they do have but that they also recognize that there is poverty in the world.
- She doesn’t like being away from Brad.
- She calls Maddox a “professional Big Brother”.
- She and Brad agree, for the most part, on how to raise their children, and usually only have to discuss specific issues, such as whether or not to let a child in the bed if they get up in the middle of the night (although she did say that “they’re so cute, we usually just let them in”).

During the interview, Matt also said that Clint Eastwood made a comment about how Angelina was an “amazing actress who is hampered by a beautiful face”. (that’s just a paraphrase…I’m sure the original phrase he used was much more eloquent). She was definitely flattered that he said that and you can tell from this photo shoot that the two did together that she thinks very highly of him, and he of her.

This video is absolutely priceless! This was shown at the American Cinematheque tribute to Julia Roberts. Seems George Clooney wasn’t able to be there in person, so he taped a little message…with a quick cameo from a mutual friend…

Christmas is right around the corner, so what do you get your loved one? Let’s talk about getting some music! One of my favorite songs comes from the Mr. and Mrs. Smith soundtrack. It’s by Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros and is called Mondo Bongo. It’s the first song you really hear (when Angie taunts Brad into dancing) and it’s the LAST song you hear (when they’re having the gun-fight in the department store). Last February my husband and I were snowed in for Valentines day. I had JUST downloaded this song and the next thing I knew we were doing the horizontal mambo while the song played on repeat! This is truly one extremely sexy song.

There are other great songs on the cd, including “Nothin’ but A Good Time” by Poison (my husband had a fit when he heard this song - he started re-living his teen years), “Tainted Love” (a personal favorite of mine), and “Lay Lady Lay”. Here is the list of songs:

Brad sighting, Brad sighting!! Brad was at the Hollywood Awards last night to give out an award to one of his newest co-stars: Casey Affleck. Brad took a moment to pose with Kristie Alley in the back (now why didn’t THOSE two ever do a movie together?!) and then made what looks to be a very impressive speech, complete with some funny faces!

Brad looks REALLY tired here - I wonder if he’s getting enough sleep! Brad - you can’t care of the kids if you’re sick - go rest!!

Brad Pitt, Casey Affleck, Hollywood Awards

Apparently there is a Paparazzo that is staked out just watching the Changeling set - and they’re incapable of taking photos of anyone other than Angie!! Looks like yesterday Angie had a scene where she was in her nightgown and wrap, getting the newspaper. She also looked to be getting some direction from the legendary Clint Eastwood. I wonder if they’re filming this weekend of if Angie will be able to take some time to spend time with the kiddos and Brad!

So far there’s been no sightings of the kids and only one sighting of Brad. I know that they’ve said that they can’t go to the big cities because they are followed around, but they’re hiding out extremely well right now, either that or the Paparazzi in California is too focused on Britney Spears and her current custody case (not to mention her horrible fashion taste and underwear problem). Either way, I’m just glad that the kids are able to be away from the cameras for awhile. Although I do wonder if Maddox is back in school right now or not!

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Changeling, Clint Eastwood

We’ve been seeing photos of Angie throughout the week while she’s been working on her new movie, The Changeling, which is directed by the legendary Clint Eastwood. Here’s Angie with her youngest co-star: Devon Gearhart. Devon is 12 years old (his character is 12 as well), and has been acting since 2004. I’m not sure who the man in the officer’s uniform is. John Malkovich is slotted to be in this movie, but I haven’t seen photos of him yet. I’m a big John Malkovich fan and can’t wait to see him act with Angie! I’ll bet it will be great!

I love the photo of Clint Eastwood and Angie side-by-side. You just know you’re looking at two Hollywood legends that will be remembered for all time!

Also, word has it that the group is NOT filming in LA - they’re in San Dimas! (is anyone else having flashbacks of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure? “San Dimas High RULES!”) I love the set so far - the old cars are great to look at!

Brad Pitt was doing some stunts in his new movie, Burn After Reading. I realized I didn’t know quite what the plot was for this movie, so I did a bit of research.

Burn After Reading is a Coen brothers film. John Malkovich will play Ozzie Cox, a former CIA agent whose soon-to-be ex-wife (Frances McDormand) steals a disc containing his memoirs and accidentally leaves it at the gym where it is found by a trainer (Brad Pitt) who believes he can use the info to blackmail Cox. George Clooney will play an assassin hired by the CIA to take care of the situation.

First of all, I LOVE John Malkovich. Secondly - George Clooney - an Assassin?! MWA HA HA! For some reason I find that extremely funny!

So far all the scenes we’ve seen photos of show Brad dressed in a suit. Wait a tic - if he’s a trainer, that should mean we get to see him in some tight clothing, right?! Oh I definitely love the thought of that - and so does every woman in America I think!

If you’re in New York City, head over to Middagh St. Apparently both George and Brad have been filming there the last few days, and I believe that was where these photos were taken! The house that Malkovich’s character lives in was built between Court and Clinton on State St.

Brad Pitt, Burn After Reading

I have discovered my new young-actor crush:

Casey Affleck. *sigh* He’s a cutie pie, isn’t he? Beautiful eyes - stylin’ hair - tastefully dressed…yummmm…

Sorry, was drooling on the keyboard there for a moment.

Apparently I’m not the only one who sees something in him. He’s worked with Brad now on FOUR movies. When it came to the Ocean’s movies, Brad probably was not involved in casting. However, I guarantee that he WAS involved in casting his own movie, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, and he chose to have Casey in the movie. I haven’t seen quite enough of Casey yet to see if his acting abilities are worthy of our dear Brad, but I do know one thing:
