Who says you can’t stay best friends with your ex? I know that everyone thinks that it’s not possible to be friends with an ex, but Billy Bob Thornton and Angelina Jolie are proving this rumor false. We’ve seen before how Billy Bob has nothing to say but nice things about Angelina, and he’s done it again.

In an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle, Billy Bob talks about his new movie, The Informer, his band, his girlfriend, and Angelina Jolie.

- About going to Cambodia to adopt Maddox: “I’m still glad I did it because it was so important to her,” he says. “Most people can’t talk me out of the house, but she did.”

- Defending Angie: “She is absolutely great,” Thornton says. “She is amazing. I love her. Anytime anybody says anything about why she has so many kids it kind of angers me. She is trying to lead a life that is really purposeful. She is still a regular person. I mean, she is not out to be a saint.”

- About meeting up with Angie and Brad: “I saw them just two weeks ago,” he says. “But, you know, they are not in town very often, and I don’t travel much.”

- About Angie’s intelligence:“She is extremely intelligent, and I mean way more intelligent than I would ever dream of being. I mean, most people I hang around with are smarter than I am. But I have a certain amount of street smarts.”

Remember when Brad went on Ellen DeGeneres’ show and asked his advice in getting George Clooney to come on her show? In case you forgot, here’s a recap:

She then decided to take Brad’s advice -

But that didn’t seem to work. The day after Brad interviewed on the show, she had Noah Wyle on to discuss his new TV movie, The Librarian. Noah, of course, knew George really well due to being on ER with him. He suggested that she try getting some of his favorite baseball players to get him onto her show.

Apparently it worked!

Thanks to the help from baseball legends Joe Morgan and Johnny Bench, Ellen got George on the show!

Apparently, during the taping, George told DeGeneres that it’s time for pay back on Brad. “I called him after I heard,” revealed Clooney, laughing, “and I said, ‘nothing in your life is safe. He said, ‘don’t harm the children,‘” George added jokingly. “I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I will harm him.”

The father of six expects George’s retaliation, telling “Extra’s” Jerry Penacoli, “Listen… it’s like a pre emptive strike… because you know its coming.”

Ha ha! I love those two! Do you think that George will retaliate good? If he does, do you think that it’ll be something he does in public, like on a talk show, or in private?!

I just barely put up some video footage from the Curious Case of Benjamin Button premiere and now we’ve got new premiere pics to see!

Angelina attended the premiere of Gran Torino - a film that was directed by Clint Eastwood. Brad wasn’t on the red carpet with her (I’m guessing he was taking a night to rest from the premieres and interviews and to enjoy time with the kids) but there are some great shots of Angelina looking more casual - and some of the great Angelina face pictures that I love to post. I love how great she looks when she is all dressed up, but I love even more than she looks amazing when she’s dressed more naturally and with minimum makeup.

Also - the Australian premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was yesterday (or today, depending on what part of the world you’re in), but it looks as though Brad didn’t make that premiere.

So this morning I was getting my daughter ready for preschool when I happened to click on the Today show. Who did I see? ANGELINA! A later check of my Inbox shows that one of my readers had left a message about Angelina being on the show - apparently I need to check my Inbox faster in the morning. I caught the tail end of the interview - about 8 or so minutes worth, but I did hear enough to confirm that

Angelina and Brad Will Be Adopting Again Sometime Soon!

She did say during the interview that they won’t be doing anything until the twins are 6 months old, so that they can see exactly what type of family dynamic there is going to be, but she also said that they already have a place picked out to adopt from! She didn’t say where, however, but I’m just happy in knowing that the two have decided to continue to expand their family.

I haven’t found a YouTube of the Today show interview with Matt Lauer yet, but when I find one, I’ll put it up immediately.

Part 2 has the good family stuff in it:

I can tell you a few things she said during the interview, however:

- She doesn’t see them staying in one place anytime soon, and feels that the kids will dictate when it’s time to settle in one home.
- They haven’t found one area that they consider to be “HOME” yet.
- They want the kids to be able to continue to enjoy traveling and making new friends as they are doing now.
- They are working to ensure that their children are grateful for the things that they do have but that they also recognize that there is poverty in the world.
- She doesn’t like being away from Brad.
- She calls Maddox a “professional Big Brother”.
- She and Brad agree, for the most part, on how to raise their children, and usually only have to discuss specific issues, such as whether or not to let a child in the bed if they get up in the middle of the night (although she did say that “they’re so cute, we usually just let them in”).

During the interview, Matt also said that Clint Eastwood made a comment about how Angelina was an “amazing actress who is hampered by a beautiful face”. (that’s just a paraphrase…I’m sure the original phrase he used was much more eloquent). She was definitely flattered that he said that and you can tell from this photo shoot that the two did together that she thinks very highly of him, and he of her.

While the world awaits the birth of the twins, Brad is still trying to have fun with the other Jolie-Pitt children. He was spotted with Bono and Robert DeNiro (three men who need only 1 name to be known by - Brad, Bono, DeNiro) having a grand ol’ time with Pax. Too cute!

Apparently now that the paparazzi in France know where Brad and Angie are, they’re going to bug them as they do when they’re in the states, and while this makes me angry and annoys me, I can’t help but love these photos. Brad, Angelina, and all of the kids went for a walk near Bono’s home in the south of France on Sunday (I don’t know if it’s Sunday OUR time or THEIR time - I’m horrible with time zones). David Howell Evans, guitarist and back up vocalist for U2, was with them and had some fun playing with the kids in the sun and the sand. And let me say right now that I love Angie’s colorful dress - it looks beautiful and oh so comfortable - I want one!

Evans and Brad, being gentlemen, where right there, ready to lend a hand when Angie wanted to get up from her rocky perch. Zahara was hanging out with Mommy, Pax was getting tossed in the air and dumped in the ocean by Daddy, and Maddox was taking a dip in the water. Family fun looks to have been had by all!

So while I’m sad that they can’t have all of the private time that they love, I am happy to see that they’re looking happy and healthy and like they’re having a very relaxing vacation!

I dragged myself from my sick bed this morning to see what is going on in Brad and Angie’s world (I’m feeling much better, thank you for the well-wishes!) and found out that everyone thinks that Brad and Angelina have wed?! See! Every time I escape for a day something big happens.

Of course we all know that this particular photo was from Mr. & Mrs. Smith

Star swears that Brad and Angelina are married. That they brought the kids to New Orleans where they wed in a small church in the French Quarter, and that they are going back to Texas immediately due to Brad’s filming schedule.

People, however, says that “it just ain’t so” – they have an “inside source” who says that there was no wedding in New Orleans, and that the couple has not left Austin, Texas since the other week.

OK Magazine is saying that the rep replied that she had “no idea” if the couple were married or not.

I usually don’t give these rumors any credence, but this time it seems to be a pretty big story. I have contacted his publicist and am waiting to hear back in order to confirm or deny these rumors, and while I’m expecting her to deny them, knowing this impulsive couple, I wouldn’t be too surprised if she confirmed it either!

Wow how the weekend flies. I barely had time to check my e-mail this weekend, what with all of the Easter festivities. Looks like Brad and Angie had a busy weekend too! The X17 Paparazzi caught Brad carrying Shiloh onto a jet on the 21st - where did they head? No one knows yet! My guess would be to Brad’s family, because it seems to be the only place that the family can escape to without the paparazzi jumping all over them. So I’m hoping that the family was able to enjoy a quiet Easter weekend together! And how was your Easter weekend?!

Hi guys! Sorry I didn’t post anything this weekend - I love when the Jolie-Pitt’s get to hide from the paps, but it makes it a bit more difficult to put a post up, because I actually have to use my head! I also took my first trip to a Lowes (remember, I live in a very, VERY rural place) and I’ve decided that I can never go into that store again - I’ll spend WAY too much money. Anyway, I was trying to track down some Brad news this morning and I landed on this:

I landed on this over at the lovely Brad Pitt Gallery, and it made me really laugh, which I always can use on a Monday. It made me think about which highschool celebrity I would have taken a second glance at. How about you?

All of us have been happy about Brad’s Make It Right campaign and have wished that we could do more. Finally another celebrity has.

Ellen DeGeneres has begun her own team for Make It Right! She is asking all of her viewers and fans to donate to the team and so far they have raised - wait for it - $169,838 - which is more than any other team has raised thus far!

Ellen is a HUGE celebrity and people love her even more than they loved Rosie O’Donnell oh so many years ago. Who knows how much Ellen will be able to raise! For more on Ellen’s quest to help the citizens of New Orleans, and to join Ellen’s team, head to her site here.

All good things must come to an end, and while there’s no end in sight yet for Brad, it is necessary to say that he’s aging. I’m sure that, like Sean Connery, he will continue to act, but eventually someone will have to step into his shoes to take the roles that he’s no longer the right age for. So who will be the “next” Brad?

How about James Marsden?

James has been slowly working his way up the Hollywood ladder, much in the same way that Brad did. He started in 1993 with a role in Saved by the Bell: The New Class, and he survived that career suicide to act in a number of other shows. Arguably, his biggest break was in playing Cyclops for X-men. Since then he’s gone on to apper in a number of popular movies, such as The Notebook, Superman Returns, Hairspray, and now the immensely popular Enchanted, where he dances and sings!

Marsden is now appearing in theaters in teh romantic comedy 27 Dresses. He’s also in the process of filming The Box, a story about a married couple who finds a box on their doorstep. Whenever they open the box they get a lot of money, but it also kills someone that they know…moral dilemma!

Marsden is 10 years younger than Brad, has been married for 7 years and has 2 children. So how about it: is James Marsden the next Brad Pitt, or is that slot saved for the 12 year younger Casey Affleck?

Alright, imagine this: you’re driving around in Los Angeles. You stop at a red light, look to your side and see this:

Brad Pitt stopped at a stop light! I don’t know about you, but I’d probably freak out!! I believe that this photo was taken on December 8th. But seriously, can you imagine pulling up next to him? So freaky!

Also, here is a shot of Angie and Brad leaving after the fight. Look who hopped on the plane with them! It’s Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani!! How cool is that?! Look at the star power on that plane, huh?

Could you see little Kingston hooking up with Zahara or Shiloh when they grow older?! How awesome would THAT be?!

This video is absolutely priceless! This was shown at the American Cinematheque tribute to Julia Roberts. Seems George Clooney wasn’t able to be there in person, so he taped a little message…with a quick cameo from a mutual friend…

I saw a US Weekly cover (at least I think it was US Weekly - all the gossip rags look slightly alike to me) that was promoting the “life of Hollywood children” and had Violet Afflect, Suri Cruise, and Shiloh on the cover. A few weeks ago I saw a similar type of show - “famous Hollywood children” (or something like that) on VH1. Again, it talked about Shiloh and said next to nothing about the other three children gracing the Pitt-Jolie household.

This annoys me to no living end! The media is treating Shiloh like she’s the only child in the Jolie-Pitt household just because she’s their only biological child. We all know that Angie and Brad treat all four of their children equally - if anything, we’ve seen them out and about more with Maddox, trying, in a way, I’m sure, to make him feel a little more special since he went from being a single child to a child with three other siblings in a relatively short time.

The media needs to wake up and realize that Maddox, Pax, and Zahara are all children of Angie and Brad too - and that they’ll all grow up with the same priveledges.
