Happy 1st Birthday to Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline!

Today the twins turn 1 year old! Yay!

I can’t believe they’ve grown up so fast and are already a year old! The two of them are absolutely adorable, even though we haven’t seen very many pictures of them. I’m glad that their parents are able to keep them away from the paparazzi, and even though I wish we could see more photos of them, I’m happy with whatever we see as long as they stay safe!

Some readers have wondered if Angelina, Zahara, and Shiloh flew off yesterday to Big Bear City separate from the boys in order to celebrate the twins birthday!

Do you think they did?

Because there aren’t many photos of the twins, I didn’t do my customary collage (SORRY!) but I am including almost all of the photos that I have of the twins for your enjoyment!

I have a horrible problem - I’m bad with numbers! It takes me forever to remember a series of numbers. For instance, when we moved into our home here, it took me a full month to remember the new number (even though I specifically had them give me an easy-ish number to remember). This is why I actually set my computer calendar to give me alarms for the birthdays of Brad and his family - I just can’t remember them off of the top of my head! Then I realized that maybe others couldn’t remember their birthdays either, so I figured what better way for us all to remember than to have them in a list?

Angelina Jolie’s Birthday - June 4, 1975 (she’s currently 33)
Maddox Jolie-Pitt’s Birthday - August 5, 2001 (he’s currently 7)

Zahara Jolie-Pitt’s Birthday - January 8, 2005 (she’s currently 4)
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt’s Birthday - May 27, 2006 (she’s currently 2)
Knox Jolie-Pitt’s Birthday - July 12, 2008 (he’ll be a year old this summer)
Vivienne Jolie-Pitt’s Birthday - July 12, 2008 (she’ll be a year old this summer)

And there you have it! All of the birthdays and ages for the Jolie-Pitt family! So next up is Shiloh in May - I can’t believe she’ll be 3!

And for those who wanted a few photos of Brad this past weekend, here you go! (by the way, did you know that it’s awful hard to dig up new sexy photos of him that I haven’t already used? I guess that makes sense, considering that it’s been 3 years since I’ve been running this site - wow! Three years already?! Suddenly I feel old…)

I’ve rounded up a few more photos of the family at the airport in Japan, and I noticed something right off. We all know that Brad and Angelina like to hand clothes down from child to child, and it looks like they’re continuing to do that - take a look at Shiloh’s jacket!

The picture of Pax wearing this same jacket is from September of 2007 - wow, has he grown up a lot! I love the fact that Brad and Angie hand the clothes down from child to child, but I’m extremely curious as to how they do it! I mean, do they keep the clothes in one specific house? I’ve got two kids and I am forever torturing them by making them try on clothes to see what fits and what doesn’t. How do Brad and Angie keep the sizes on all the kids straight?!

The photos that we’ve all been looking for are here! Brad, Angelina, and the children arrived in Japan just a short bit ago and apparently the Japanese paparazzi caught them. I’m glad that they get to have time alone, but I’m so excited that we finally get to see the children again! They look so big!! Maddox looks like he’s just so “cool”, and Shiloh is getting so big!

And, of course, Knox and Vivienne are amazing. Vivienne looks just like Shiloh, and I absolutely adore the little hat that Knox is wearing - while I’m not a huge fan of the hat itself, I think it’s absolutely adorable that he matches daddy!

More photos as I find them! I’m so excited about seeing the kids that I’m just about jumping out of my skin!!

Some of the photos of Angelina Jolie and her children in the W Magazine photo spread have been released and these photos are amazing! The magazine also has a little story about how the photography session came to be…

Brad Pitt’s project for W actually sprang from a conversation W’s Creative Director Dennis Freedman had with another photographer, Bruce Weber. Freedman had been mulling over how to show anything new about one of the most photographed women in the world and Weber pointed out that, in his opinion, the best pictures of Elizabeth Taylor were taken by her third husband, Mike Todd.

“I was surprised that Brad accepted the challenge,” says Freedman of Pitt’s enthusiastic response. “Last time we collaborated, I was struck by his sensitivity to the subtleties of photography. I knew that he possessed a highly tuned critical eye and would be very demanding of himself. Still, I wasn’t prepared for the beauty and intimacy of the images he made of Angelina and the children.”

For a hobbyist, Pitt certainly knew what he wanted. He was determined to shoot Jolie with Kodak Tech Pan film, which hasn’t been manufactured for four years. Photo Editor Nadia Vellam located 40 rolls of the stuff on eBay, which a courier then hand-carried to Pitt in Provence, France, where the couple have been hiding out since June. A week later Pitt called; he needed more film. Vellam’s first source was tapped out. She finally tracked down a guy who offered her 30 rolls-in Israel. She then had mere hours to find someone in Tel Aviv who could get on a plane to France with the film that very day. Pitt also wanted to try a specialized film used in World War II-era movies. That was a no-go. One of Vellam’s sources instead recommended Ilford to achieve the same romantic, grainy quality. Assistant Bookings Editor Will Higdon-Sudow hopped a flight with it and made the handoff in a hotel lobby. The results speak for themselves.

One thing that a reader noted that I didn’t (I was trying to get the pics uploaded so fast I didn’t take a minute to truly look at them) is that the kids are all wearing their PJ’s. This is rule #1 as a parent: if you’re going to be traveling for a long time, put the kiddos in their PJ’s. They’ll not only be more comfortable, they’ll fall asleep a lot easier, making travel more simple for everyone involved.

And it looks as though the kiddos were only woken up a short time before they landed, as they’re still a big groggy. Hopefully they were able to get into the van and fall back asleep, but if they’re anything like my kids, probably not.

A little peek into the car seat and you can see one of the twins…oh so cute!

I absolutely love this video of Angelina and Brad getting the kids off of the plane and into the van - they do it so quickly! No wonder there are very few pictures of them getting on and off a plane - they’ve got it down to a science! First Angie exits with Shiloh, Zahara, and Pax, and at the same time an airport engineer grabs the bottom of the car seats for the twins to get them installed in the van. Then Angie goes back to help Brad get Vivienne and Knox out, and then Mr. Independent Maddox comes out of the plane last. The whole thing takes less than 2 minutes on this video (they may have edited a few moments out, but I’m sure it wasn’t that much).

Also, it came to me that a lot of people have been remarking how much Vivi looks like Shiloh when she was little. What came to me the most when I looked at these pics was how much Angelina looks like Marcheline.

They two little bundles of joy are going to have their hands full with already being number 5th and 6th. But when it comes to mom and dad, it really doesn’t matter, love is drawn through out the family in all different angles. Being just three weeks old, the twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline are about make history.

Angelina says:

“It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time,” Jolie tells PEOPLE of daily life at the Château Miraval in Provence, France, where the Jolie-Pitt can run and jump with lots of room to spare.

Brad adds: “[It's] still a cuckoo’s nest.”

Fortunately, they already have some household helpers. “[Shiloh] and Z pick out [the twins'] clothes and help change and hold them,” says Jolie. “It’s sweet – they are little mommies.”

Sorry I’ve been away for a few days - add my husband being on vacation, with a ton of work, and you’ll get a neglectful writer. I apologize!!

Let’s catch up here - first of all, rumor has it that People magazine won the bidding war for pictures of Vivienne and Knox. I’m not really very surprised about this, as People has always been nice to the family, and I’m simply waiting until we can see the photos!

Next - since the last round of annoying paparazzi people, there have been no more pictures of the family at play at their home. Thank goodness!

Finally - Angelina Jolie as Catwoman? Absolutely! There are tons of rumors going around that Angelina has been asking about playing Catwoman. Julie Newmar, the amazing actress who first played the role, said, “Angelina would own the part. My industry friends tell me she has already made inquiries about the role.”

If she looked like this, she’d be amazing as Catwoman!

This, however, doesn’t mean that she’s signed up for Catwoman at ALL, simply that she’s asked about it. The next question, however, is to wonder if she would have a movie all to her own, or if she’d join in on the next Batman movie (which may never come to light, as a number of the actors have questioned how they can possibly top this Batman movie)?

Personally, I’d LOVE to see her in her own Catwoman movie. The movie with Halle Barry? Eh - it was okay, I guess, but it definitely took a few turns that I didn’t care for. I’d love to see a mixture of that Catwoman plus the Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman, and I know that Angelina could pull it off!

Sorry for the delay you guys! The tech gurus at 451 Press decided to switch to new servers and to upgrade to the new WordPress while they were at it, so the blog got a bit messed up for awhile. We’re back, though! Yay!

We come back to some great news as well! Angelina, Knox, and Vivienne were all released from the hospital and are now resting at home.

“Angelina Jolie left the Clinic Santa Maria of Fondation Lenval early in the morning of July 19th,” hospital rep Nadine Bauer confirmed to PEOPLE. “The mother and babies are doing very well.”

Apparently, around 3:50 am, a gray VW minibus pulled up to the garage and, very rapidly, a few people got into the van. Thankfully, there are no pictures.

Angelina’s physician, Dr. Michel Sussmann, confirmed, around 9 am, that the family was gone. “You can go home. The story is over.”

I believe I speak for all of the fans of Brad and Angelina and their family when I say that I hope Angelina gets to rest and recover in peace, and that her whole family gets to enjoy welcoming the twins into their lives. (I also hope Brad and Angelina get some sleep, but having two children myself, I know that is a dream that will take awhile to come true!)

First let me say that I LOVE the name Vivienne! Knox is a great name too - very strong and masculine, but I tend to be partial to feminine names (yet I named my own daughter a male type name - go figure). As my grandmother would say, “Vivienne Marcheline - that’s a mouthful of a name”, yet it is a beautiful mouthful.

We now know that Knox is a family name from Brad’s side of the family, but do we know where Leon came from?

Okay, so here is the scoop about the family - a press conference was scheduled for today, but it has been called off. The main players called it off very early this morning/late last night, claiming that there was nothing new that could be said during the press conference that we all didn’t already know, so do not expect to see that.

Some are concerned for Angelina and the babies - it was reported on People that Angelina’s doctor showed up early Monday morning and left his car parked on the side of the hospital for an extended amount of time. When he came out of the hospital, however, Dr. Sussman said that both Angelina and the babies were fine. “They are all very well, very well,” he told PEOPLE exclusively. “Everything is okay.”

Rumors are also flying around as to how much the magazines are going to pay for the first photos of Knox and Vivienne. I’ve heard so far that the amount is anywhere from $11 million to $20 million. No one is sure yet which magazine is forking over the money, or where the funds are going to go to - I’d hazard a guess, however, that at least a portion of the money will be going to the hospital where Angelina and Brad had the children. Where do you think they’ll spend the money?

Also, Angelina’s father has been talking to the media about the twins arrival (they’ve been badgering him about it, so I’m assuming he had to say something). He has wished the family well and has said how proud he is. As for going to see the new additions to the family? “If I’m asked, I’ll find a way. But I haven’t been asked.”

Other than that, there have been no sightings of Brad or the children lately. Other rumors say that Knox and Vivienne spent the night with Angelina, but no one is sure about that.

Now we just wait and pray that everyone remains happy and healthy!

As I KNEW would happen, the babies were born the ONE WEEKEND I WAS AWAY!

Angelina gave birth in the hospital in Nice yesterday though a textbook c-section. The Major of Nice himself came out to present the birth certificates to Brad and Angelina.

According to Dr. Sussman, Brad was with Angie throughout the births. Little Knox was born first, and his sister, Vivienne, was born a few minutes later. The two weighed in a bit over five pounds and are extremely healthy. No one is quite sure yet when the family will be able to go home (as the babies were born a bit premature, in order to have them deliver the healthiest they could be delivered), so it may be a few weeks before Angelina and Brad are able to take their newest additions home to be with the others.
