It seems that the jet-setting couple has actually slowed down for a week or so! Things are all quiet on the Brad and Angelina front, so there’s really nothing new to report.
Due to some exremely sucky circumstances, I had a lot of time on my hands this weekend and had the opportunity to finally sit down and watch Ocean’s 12.
No. I hadn’t watched Ocean’s 12 yet. I kept hearing how terrible it was and I loved the first one so much I didn’t want my opinion of the second one to tarnish my love for the first one!
But my husband and I sat down and watched it and, I have to say, it’s not totally terrible. Not much Julia, but more Catherine Zeta-Jones. Brad’s in it quite a bit and has a lot of really, really nice smirks that make you want to jump on him and bite his face.
The story was solid. The ending was good, it stayed true to the “the viewer won’t know everything until the final scene” profile that made Ocean’s 11 so good.
Do I think Ocean’s 12 is as good as Ocean’s 11 was? No, absolutely not. However, it does not rate as high on the suckiness scale as most reviewes seem to believe it does. All in all, if you want a sit down movie that will help you get your mind off the real world, than this movie is it.
I wonder what Ocean’s 13 will be like?!
