Check it out! here are two commercials that Brad filmed in July, when the family was stationed in Prague. It’s for a phone called Softbank, and they’re pretty funny! The first one, with him in the black suit, is interesting. It looks like he’s saying “I’m sorry”, and with the music “girl, you’ve really got me now…” makes it seem like he’s apologizing to Angie! Let me know what you think!
Brad and Angie had a busy day! First they left Venice (with the kids, of course) via boat.
They went to Paris, where they got dressed and headed to the screening of “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford” at the 33rd American Film Fesitival in Deauville, France.
They then hit the red carpet where they signed autographs (Brad brought his own pen!), talked with reporters, and generally looked glamorous!

Shiloh was once again on the cover of a magazine - this time it’s Us magazine. The magazine put her on the cover in order to “celebrate” her first birthday.
Wow - if she has a cover for every birthday, these could become a collector’s item! Could you see, 100 years in the future, a person going to the Antique Roadshow (because that will NEVER die) with a full set of Shiloh covers?! Hee hee…
For those who didn’t know (which, I think, was everybody), I headed out for the weekend to celebrate my fifth year anniversary.
Apparently Brad and Angie did some celebrating too!

Alright, here’s my theory - pictures are individual moments that are frozen in time. Just like the bible, they can be interepreted to mean anything - take this picture.
Now, this picture could be interpreted to mean “Awww - he’s so devoted to her and they’re so in love,” OR it could be interpreted as, “Awww - he’s so in love with her and she’s SO ignoring him”, OR you’ve still got, “Awww, he’s so in love with her and she doesn’t even realize it.” How about another one?

My faith in celebrity stalkers has been restored. Somewhere in L.A., a Brad Pitt fan snapped a picture (it looks to be with a cell phone) of Brad in the passanger seat of an SUV.

OK, so you’ve had a crush on Brad Pitt since “Thelma and Louise,” but you thought you might be just a bit, uh, old to hang a life-size image of him on your wall … in his skivvies.
Well, not anymore. Now you can suspend a huge, moving, breathing portrait of Brad for all to see – for you’ll be bringing cutting-edge art into your home: Acclaimed experimental theater artist Robert Wilson, renowned for his avant-garde design work and spectacles such as Philip Glass’ opera “Einstein on the Beach,” is finally bringing his vision to the masses.
Wilson has collaborated with Voom HD Networks on Voom Portraits, a series of more than 30 video works, to be displayed on high-definition screens – little dramas starring famous actors such as Pitt, Isabella Rossellini (as a blond-wigged, Japanese manga character), Wynona Ryder and Robert Downey Jr., as well as other celebrities, such as Princess Caroline of Monaco.
At first, the video portraits – ranging from two to 15 minutes – look like stills, but then the subject may blink an eye, move a foot, or, in Pitt’s case, slowly raise gorgeously muscled arms to shoot a water pistol at the watcher’s face.
Voom TV, available through the DISH Network, has 15 channels, including Gallery HD, says Ali Hossaini, the Voom executive who commissioned Wilson to do the portraits and wanted to have a “twist” on that fine arts channel, “where we actually would make a television into art,” he says. For the privilege of working with Wilson, he says, the actors and other subjects worked for free.
Voom will put Portraits on Gallery HD sometime in the fall, along with a documentary showing how Wilson made them. Then, if people want to record the Portraits, they can decorate their walls with Wilson’s art. Source
Notice that it’s “stars” such as Isabella Rossellini (who?!), Wynona Ryder (the stealer), Robert Downey Jr. (Drug Addict) and Princess Caroline .(are you automatically a celebrity if you have Princess or Prince in front of your name?!) What kind of stars are these?! At least the man had taste enough to add Brad Pitt. My next question is: where’s Angie?! And what would her portrait do…give birth?!

Elvis Mitchell: What kind of stuff would you say you were first influenced by?
Brad Pitt: It was all about Mickey Rourke – I can see bits of him in stuff I do. Not that it’s a copy, or even at that level, but I certainly see where the inspiration comes from.
EM: What was it about Rourke for you?
BP: Just the juxtaposition of his toughness and intimacy. He can be stone tough and paper brittle at the same time. He and Sean Penn were the two guys I was drawn to, like most of the young guys at the time. Later it was Nicholson, mainly because of his irreverence. (laughs) He’s a charmer.

I’ve been searching for the typed interview Brad and Angie gave to Ryan Seacrest at the Golden Globes the other night and FINALLY I found it! Here’s what they had to say to Ryan:
Ryan: How important was the making of Babel?
Brad: The message. As we start to learn more and more about each other, our similarities and universities become more and more important. I think that’s the beauty of film.
Ryan: You two have so much going on. How do you prioritize and balance all your humanitarian efforts, family, and film?
Brad: A lot of that, and a little of this, and most of it at home with the family. That seems to be a good balance for us.
Ryan: What was it like getting ready with Brad and Angelina at home?
Brad: It’s the morning with the kids - depends on who gets up first.
Ryan: Are you making breakfast?
Brad: Yes. Breakfast, [changing] diapers.
Ryan: [Angelina] Are you a good cook?
Angelina: Yes, cereal!
Ryan: Are you excited about the Golden Globes?
Brad: Yes, because we only really get to see each other through films and to have an event where we get to see each other and pay our respects and have a drink. It’s a good time for us.
Ryan: How hard is it to always be in the spotlight?
Brad: No comment!
Angelina: You don’t focus on that. You focus on your life and your family.
Ryan: So how big is the family going to be?
Brad: We’re thinking soccer team. World cup. We are going to start our own country and enter the world cup - and dominate.
What! Soccer…not football or baseball?! Come ON Brad, at least try to stay American!
Although, with David Beckham now signed to the American soccer team I have a feeling soccer is going to get a lot more popular…especially with women!
Babel won last night at the Golden Globes for Best Motion Picture: Drama catagory. While I’m very, very happy for Brad and his crew, I couldn’t help but notice something: this is the exact same outfit AND hairstyle he wore to the God Grew Tired Of Us premiere a few weeks ago! Seriously! Check it out!
He and Angie have been saying that they’re worried about making sure they have enough money to raise their children (as a mother of two I’ve been laughing hysterically ever since I heard them make this statement). I guess Brad’s decided he’d better start recycling some of his tux’s to save some cash!
