Brad Pitt Watch

Everyone has been showing Angelina Jolie interviews due to Wanted coming out in a few short days. I decided I’d spend some time trying to dig up some Brad Pitt interviews, when I uncovered the best Brad Pitt interview we’ve ever seen - at least, in my opinion!

Members of the Santa Barbara Middle School Teen Press were able to go to the Santa Barbara awards ceremony and to get interviews by both Brad and Angelina Jolie. Remember this picture:

Those are the two students, Eliana & Harrison, were able to interview Brad and Angelina. I remember writing about the Santa Barbara Film Festival because it was where Angelina wore a loose fitting shirt over her dress, first fueling the rumors that she was pregnant. Their interview with Brad was amazing. Part of me wants to say it was cute, but the questions that these young journalists raised were excellent questions, and deserve much more praise than just the term “cute”. They conducted themselves very professionally (I would’ve been melted into a puddle by that point), and have my utmost respect for having the courage to interview some of the most famous actors in the world.

Their interview with Angelina was also excellent! Near the end of the interview, as she’s walking off, Angelina says, “Great interview! Best I’ve ever had!” If these interviews are a precursor to the future, Eliana & Harrison are definitely going places!

The internet is a wonderful thing, and can give you pieces of movies before they’ve even come out. I’m not sure where these came from, or how they got leaked online, but I’m not complaining (not after I just saw 9 minutes worth of the film - awesome action sequences!) I’m putting this below the cut line, just in case anyone doesn’t want to see 9 minutes worth of Angelina Jolie in Wanted! (and now I’m even more anxious for June 24th to come around - think I can talk my husband into going with me, or should I plan on going myself? Maybe Sherry over at PittWatch will meet me and we can watch it together!)

Wanted Exclusive Trailer

I’ll have to admit that I was excited for the movie but wasn’t entirely freaking out. Now that I’ve seen the trailer, however, I’m dying to see it! I love when Angelina plays “bad ass” characters - I love watching men go “God, I want to kiss her but she could kick my ass!” And who doesn’t love Morgan Freeman?!

Wanted’s London premiere is in eight more days - no one is quite sure if Angelina will be there or not, but I’ll definitely keep my eyes open and if there are photos, I’ll put them right up!

Will you be seeing Wanted in the theaters?!

A very, very cute YouTube! I hadn’t seen much showing Angelina as the tiger, so this was very welcome!

The trailer for the Curious Case of Benjamin Button has been released! The beginning of the trailer is in Spanish - anyone fluent who can translate for us? Most of the trailer, however, is music and images from the film, and shows a bit more about what this movie will be about.

“It’s dark, it’s romantic, and it also deals with mortality in a pretty unflattering way. Button is born in 1919 - with the film itself beginning in World War I, traveling around the world and carrying on all the way through to the year 2000.” - Director David Fincher

Wow. Just wow. Angelina and Brad both look amazing at Cannes. This first set of photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is at the Kung Fu Panda afterparty. I must say, I absolutely admire Angie right now. Oh not for her love for humanity or for her charity efforts, or because she has tried to make the world better for children all around the globe. No, right now I admire her for the ability to be able to walk with heels being as pregnant as she is! I can barely walk in heels on a normal day!

Another photos that has become my favorite - Jack Black and Angelina Jolie from the premiere yesterday comparing bellies! As Jack calls it “more cushin’ for the pushin’”.

Here are a few more random photos from Cannes yesterday, from the photocall as well as from the arrival for the premiere and the departure (and isn’t Jack Black sweet helping Angelina down the steps with Brad! I love Jack almost as much as I love Brad…just in a much different and “less sexy” way LOL) - keep looking throughout the weekend as I’ll continue to post pics, and I’m working on getting some really high quality ones so that you can have some great new backgrounds! Plenty of things to see here this weekend! And then, don’t forget, Angelina is supposed to be promoting the Changeling on Tuesday, so I’m sure we’ll see tons of new photos then as well!!

Next we have photos from Cannes! These ones are AWESOME people. First we have Angelina pairing with Dustin Hoffman and Jack Black for the Kung Fu Panda photo call.

Then, Angie got even more glammed up and she and Brad hit the red carpet for the Kung Fu Panda premiere!!

And this time Angie’s the one who’s getting a butt grab! Well…almost…

I love how Angie and Brad always make the time for their fans…

And here is the YouTube version of Jack Black “letting it slip” and of the whole segment that aired this morning. It’s very cool! If you couldn’t watch it before, take a gander. Angie doesn’t seem upset at all that Jack let it slip, and if she is she’s covering it REALLY well.

If you haven’t been following this site for awhile, you may have missed that I have high speed internet through satellite because I can’t get it any other way. This essentially means that I’m only allowed to download 200 MB per day, so any website I load up counts. For this reason, I tend to avoid long YouTubes because they take quite a bit of my megabytes. I couldn’t hold off on this video, however. I’ve been avoiding it for awhile, but I finally decided to check it out once I saw it on Sherry’s site. It’s Jimmy Kimmel’s response to his GF’s “I’m &(*king Matt Damon” video…and Brad plays a little cameo!! Seriously, you have to watch this.

My friend Sherry over at PittWatch has got a quote from the CNN interview that apparently didn’t make the broadcast…apparently the interviewer attempted to ask about the pregnancy rumors and Angie wasn’t having any of it.

CNN: There are reports out of Hollywood that… (laughs)
Jolie: Oh don’t. Stop it. (interrupts I had to ask) Stay true to your tradition. You’re CNN. Don’t do it!
CNN: I know that’s why I have to… (laughs)
Jolie: But I don’t have to answer. OK?
CNN: No you don’t. I completely and totally … you’re right and will not press the matter.
Jolie: Thank you.

Meanwhile Brad’s at home defending his family against the latest cover to grace Life & Style:

Brad is, apparently, livid. The story says something about the couple recieving death threats against Shiloh, and that they’ve gotten more security in order to protect her. Brad’s rep, however, gave some idea as to how upset the family is about this rumor:

“This is absolutely false, repulsive, and dangerous to put these ideas into the world.”

And In Touch is saying that they’ve got an “EXCLUSIVE” as to why Angie is giving birth in France.

The gossip never stops for this family. Below is a video of Angie eating lunch with the troops - you can really get a sense of what kind of a circus it is whenever one of the duo is out in public - the flashes won’t stop! I’m surprised she doesn’t go blind!!

I’m not sure how much internet access I’ll have in a bit…a huge ice/slush/freezing-rain-from-hell storm is hitting Vermont and I’m almost guaranteed to lose access for the evening. But if you’re in a place sunny and warm (dammit), or even just in a place where you’ve got internet access, you might want to check out the videos that the wonderful Brangelina en Espanol put together! She’s got a great collection of videos, from some television interviews to shots of them at the recent award shows.

According to her, Brad and Angie should be at the awards in Santa Barabara in a few days…hmmm…this I didn’t know about! You can bet, though, that now that I do, I’ll be on it as quickly as possible with all the best photos I can find on the web!

Here’s a little three minute piece of some of the shots where the camera panned to Brad and Angie during the broadcast. It’s a good little compliation! I’m told there are some excellent pieces out there but I have yet to find them all. Give me time, though, and we’ll have some excellent video of the two together!

We all know that Brad is on Larry King Live tonight at 9 p.m. (EST), but did you know that there’s a 6 minute “sneak peak” on YouTube? Check it out!

Brad and Angie have, apparently, bought an island! They’ve reportedly purchased an island that is shaped like Ethopia which is, of course, where Zahara was born. The island is part of a man-made development known as “The World”. This development consists of 300 islands, with a price tag for each island ranging anywhere from 6 million dollars on up. The company making “The World” is using terraforming in order to create the individual islands. Intrestingly enough, you’d think that with a price tag as large as these islands have, they would come fully furnished - you know, with trees and such. Nope. After the islands are finished, the owners will have designers that can change the look and feel of the island. Basically a few million buys you a large plot of sand.

There have been a number of celebrities linked to buying an island in The World, including Rod Stewart and David Beckham. Tommy Lee has said that he is purchasing Greese and is giving it to Pamela Anderson in the hopes that she and the boys and himself can all spend time together as a family there.

The rumor is that Brad and Angie intend to use their island to encourage people how to live a greener lifestyle. Check out this video, and thanks to Katie over at Watching Criminal Minds for the tip!
