Chateau Miraval “Long Term Lease”, Star After the Jolie-Pitts

The story now has been a bit clarified as to Chateau Miraval - seems that Brad and Angelina did not purchase the chateau, but instead signed a 3 year lease on the property. Owner Tom Bove told French newspapers that a “large international group” had taken possession of the home and vineyards (large international group - ha! Sorry, its funny to me, because what is the Jolie-Pitt family other than a large international group?). Rumors are still flying about, saying that Angelina will give birth at Chateau Miraval. Meanwhile I just enjoy saying the name of the property - Chateau Miraval - so romantic!
In other news, Star has decided that Britney Spears isn’t enough of a target and is now going after the Jolie-Pitts.

Star’s latest magazine has a story that is apparently told to them by one of the previous Jolie-Pitt nannies - here’s a preview:
The children rule the Jolie-Pitt household - throwing tantrums (in seven languages!), eating junk food-filled meals and obsessing over wild animals. Now, a nanny dishes the details to Star!
In the June 9 issue of Star, we report how pizza-and-chocolate breakfasts, dart-gun wars and screaming contests are all part of a normal day in the Jolie-Pitt household.
Angelina Jolie even told Star that lover Brad Pitt was “trying to” care for their four children, while she was promoting Kung Fu Panda at the Cannes Film Festival. That was a good choice of words. The whirlwind of activity at the couple’s $58 million rented Villa Maryland in St. Jean Cap Ferrat, France - and soon to be at their new rental, a $70 million home on the French Riviera - would leave any parent breathless, but that’s just how this mom and dad like it. “Angelina doesn’t believe in old-fashioned restrictions because she finds them oppressive,” a pal of the pair tells Star. “So her rule is to have few rules.”
So that means chaotic meals (each child can have whatever they want to eat), nightmare bath hours (the bathroom’s soaking by the time they finish), children chirping in all different languages (Maddox only wants to speak in French) and six televisions that are on around the clock. Making things even crazier, cellphones, landlines, fax machines ring around the clock and the doorbell chimes with constant deliveries of clothes and toys.
“Their friends in Los Angeles, New Orleans and even Italy all say the same thing: It’s insane,” says a source.
And when Brad and Angelina aren’t skinny-dipping at 2 a.m., they’re finalizing plans for all of their children to be in the delivery room when Angie gives birth to twins in July.
Read all the details from the nanny - including Shiloh’s fits, Brangelina’s plan to have the kids present at the birth of twins and the one rule they are absolutely adamant about - in the new issue of Star, on newsstands now. Plus: Find out about Angelina’s pregnancy cravings and how she’s packed on 50lbs. in 8 months.
Now, I’m debating on whether I should purchase the magazine and type out the whole story here - is that something you would like to see, or is Star full of hot air?

Hi Randi, was just about to go to sleep when I thought I’d give the site a peek to see if you’ve got some news, and now this US thing. They really have something against the JPs don’t they. My two cents: don’t waste your money on this junk. You’ll probably just get irritated reading it. I mean just reading that excerpt is bad enough.

Randi, I loved reading the excerpt it sounds just like my house and I only have one child a boy, but when his friends are over whoo look out. If you ever see that tv show John and Kate plus 8 it is not hard to imagine that it is crazy in the JP house hold. they have 4 kids under 6 yrs and two on the way of course it will be crazy. Love it they are so normal.

First of all, because there is such a fascination with the JP’s, I have often myself picked up a “gossip rag” just to get a another look at them, but if I’m gonna read them, I would much rather read lies that are not attacking in any way. Obviously, these people can’t seem to find anything wrong with the JP’s so they have to make it up. It’s one thing to attack Brad or Angie, but when you bring the kids into it, it makes me sick. We have seen these beautiful children out in public and I can tell you that these children are not “out of control” nor do they seem dsyfunctional or even sad. These children seem very well behaved, and I can’t imagine that they would act any different out in public than they would at home. If they want to compare, take a look around and see some children that I’d like to paddle myself. Man, that makes me mad….why don’t they just leave them alone?

I disagree joleey, my son often behaves very well out in public and then goes wild when he is at home. And I don’t see anything wrong with it he needs a release. The article is not that bad. All children have temper tantrums at the age of 2 and 3 and 4. This is normal. My son at the age of 3 thought he was a bear for an entire week. As for dart gun wars better then the water gun war my son and his friends brought in to my house. Bath time has gotten better in my house since he has gotten older (7yrs) but at 2-5 the bathroom floor was covered in towels every night for the splashing. Remember I only have one child. I am also a big believer in feeding the kid something he will eat rather then forcing him to eat something he doesn’t like. With a chef in the house (which they have) I doubt the meals are unhealthy. Unless they consider Eggo’s and sugar cereals (IE sugercrisps) junk food. As for the languages they all speak different language so!! I know they are trying to make it sound bad but if you actually read it, it sounds like a normal family with four kids.

first of all if they really did speak to a nanny, then I am sure she is lying or just saying it for money. Although I do agree that most of these things are normal for kids their age. They should take action against that nanny, I am positive she had to sign a privacy agreement and this is a violation of it. My mother has worked for many celebrities and no matter how small of a celebrity she has had to sing privacy statements, so I am sure that the JP’s make all their employees do it.

[...] Life & Style Is After Shiloh? by Randi Here’s the larger Star cover, to begin with [...]

They HAVE TO play iside or the papz bombard them. I can see Angie being a free spirit but I have to believe they discipline them or they WOULD NOT act ok in public, they would not know how. I agree I am sure all help have to sign their life away to work for the JP’s. I am sure Brad is a big player with the kids and you know they like to have fun. Randi, don’t waste your money or time on the rags.
May 28th, 2008 at 3:00 pm
It’s just sad that they are trying to make money out of a 2 year old.
May 28th, 2008 at 6:44 pm
I dont believe on bit of the article. It’s very sad that they imply JP children are bad behaved. One thing that Angelina and Brad are very proud of is their children.
May 28th, 2008 at 7:18 pm
Angie’s packed on 50 lbs in 8 months? Are these people blind?
Sounds like the whole story is probably rubbish if they’re trying to throw that in there to fill out the story.

so what if they eat junk food. Kids of thier generation was raised on junk food. When both parents work and as hard as AB does , hey we all take short cuts. At least they are hands on, Some complain of their nomad life-style but one thing certain, they are together. Family strong, they always have each other. Their kids also see giving back. If letting their kids eat too much junk food is all they can find wrong with this family… I think they need a ribbon!!!!
May 29th, 2008 at 9:21 am
Hey,
How loud would your house be if your kids had to stay indoors all the time because all the people outside taking pictures and who knows, maybe even a physco or kidnapper to grab you.
think about it these kids have to play somewhere. They rarely get to play outdoos with other kids, so they play with Mom and Dad
READ BETWEEN THE LINES. It is all bs
May 29th, 2008 at 2:49 pm
Oh I so agree with you guys! I think that Brad and Angie are a great example of how you can be “real” parents even though you’re celebrities. I’m sure the kids have discipline and that they are just like normal kids!
