Did Brad Truly Adopt Angie’s Kids?
Now I’m curious.
A commenter noticed that she had not “technically” seen any information about Brad officially adopting Angelina’s children. DID he officially adopt Angelina’s children?
A name-change and an adoption are two seperate things. I could bring a child into my home and change their last name, but that would not give me parental rights to them.
I have found no proof online that Brad officially adopted Angelina’s children - the only thing I have seen is the name change. So what does this mean?!
Edited:
Meg over at Angelina Jolie Watch has come up with the evidence that I was searching for earlier about Brad formally adopting Angelina’s children. You can see the article here. This article also says that Angelina underwent fertility treatments and is expecting twins….

You will find no proof because adoption papers are SEALED. Name change documents are NOT sealed which is why TMZ can go down to a courthouse & get copies.

Shame on you, Randi.
Someone here had been right, it’s not truth you are searching for, it’s just negative.
Alas

“Brad Pitt has become the legal guardian of lover Angelina Jolie’s adoptive children.
The handsome actor was granted parental rights to the children, four year old Maddox and baby Zahara, by Superior Court Judge Linda Lefkowitz a month after Jolie’s lawyers filed the paperwork for the name change.
Evan Spiegel, Jolie’s attorney, said: “The court granted the name change.”
The children’s new names will become Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt, and Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt.”
In my state a legal guardian is different than an adoptive parent. A legal guardian takes care of the financial aspects and is there in case of the death of the adoptive parent. (i.e. my son’s legal guardian is his grandfather)
BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT THIS IS A FAMILY THAT IS TOGETHER AND LOVES EACH OTHER. PAX, I would bet has the name change and legal guardianship that the other children have.
