Father’s Day for Brad Pitt and Moneyball Dropped
Hey guys! I’m sorry I didn’t post this morning - my family and I headed out to spend Father’s Day with our favorite guy at a Christmas-themed amusement park that’s fairly near my home. We spent all day there and have only just gotten back.
But where I dropped the ball with timing, I won’t drop it with info! First of all let me wish a wonderful Happy Father’s day to a great dad - Brad Pitt! And chances are he had plenty of time to spend with his kids because…
Sony has dropped Moneyball.
The film was set to begin shooting tomorrow (Monday) morning but apparently the higher ups in Sony have decided that the script that they were going to shoot is too far removed from the script that was given the green light to feel comfortable shooting the film. This means that they either have to find a new financial backer or the script will be sentenced to being forgotten about.
And while this kind of stinks for Brad, I’m sure that he’ll have another movie to film soon (if Moneyball isn’t revived) and while he’s in waiting he can spend plenty of time with his favorite people - his family!

I have a feeling this was not a surprise to Brad or Sodenberg or the rest of the cast. There must have been talks for weeks about the script. This decision didn’t just come out of the blue, not with a major A-list star attached. Studios don’t mess with stars like that. The script must have been really awful!!! I wonder if it is dead in the water or if another studio will pick it up?
Also, if the film is indeed on the shelf, will Angie, Brad and kids go to France to spend the summer or stay in L.A.??
P.S.: “Moneyball” never sounded like an interesting film to me. I can’t imagine anybody other than a rabid baseball fan wanted to watch it.

As for “Moneyball” … perhaps something more down Kevin Costner’s alley? (Was I mean now?) If anyone out there writes a baseball script, Kevin will come…
I’m sort of with m s l e w i s on this one as far as interest for a baseball movie goes. Certainly wouldn’t be interesting anywhere else (at least a definite NO in Europe) - except for perhaps a lukewarm opening in the U.S. and Japan.
I have for some reason been thinking of Brad in terms of an “Indiana Jones”-movie lately. A brushed off, newer version of the old Harrison Ford movies. The concept might be a bit “done” and overwith perhaps, especially since there was a new movie out just last year with Harrison.
But since the trend is to start from the very beginning of the story (the Bond-movies, all of the Comic-based movies… they’ve all jumped on the train) - I think Brad would be rather fitting as a younger Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford’s portrail of the character was alwas from a late middle aged man and onward to an older man). That cheeky, happy go lucky and sometimes sheepish way Brad has about him would work brilliantly as a young Jones…

007, I doubt Brad would be intersted in doing the Ford version of Indiana Jones but if he does (as reported) the “Lost City of Z” then he will play an explorer in the Amazon who is searching for a lost city. However, this man never returned. That would be a much more dramatic story than the cartoonish “Indian Jones” movies.

And if the “Lost City of Z” is to be done - then I’d be quite happy! The story surrounding archeologist Percy Fawcett and the manuscript makes for a rather enticing concept… I’d look forward to seeing that more than any baseball-movie. Thanks m s l e w i s.
In the end though, we’ll just have to wait and see what he chooses to do. Untill then, there’s always going to be “Inglourious Basterds” to wait for.

If you had read the new reports , you would know it is widely reported that Angelina and kids are still living at East coast and Brad was staying in L.A, Though he joined them for Father’s day. But they aren’t living in the same city right now.
And now with Sony dropping Moneyball , although i read Soderberg made a new deal with Columbia over the weekend , But still it will probably get shot with delay. We will see if he joins his family for vacation or not.

Why is anyone reporting a tab mag/site report that Brad is not with his family. I mean really. Angie’s movie wrapped 2 weeks ago. She, Madd and Pax flew together.. so I guess the other kids were left without either parent. NOT.. someone is always speculating that the Jolie-Pitts are not together. Brad/Angie have kept their family together for 4 years through many movies. So why would this be any different. NOT.. As far as Moneyball I am just concerned that all this script drama will affect the movie. We will have to see one way or another. But I am 99.9 % sure the family is together and fine. I can’t say 100% because no one really know what the family does day to day.

they claim angelina is in new york filming SALT, even though they have had a freckin wrap party for SALT about 2 weeks ago in new york
brad would also not leave L.A because he is needed at meeting to try and “save” money-ball”.
like i said, brad has been L.A for a while, as has angie and kids, apart from angie WRD day, and now angie is back in L.A with brad.

There will always be those who believe the ragmags!! It’s just human nature. In the stories I read after Angie did her work for Refugee Day, it was reported that she flew in on a private jet and flew out, returning to Los Angeles. Why would she still be in NY? And why would she be in NY without her other four children?
I’m sure we will see on Wednesday when the ragmags come out that they are insisting that Angie and Brad are “living apart” because that’s a much better story for them than having the two of them together and happy.

There are two different people in Twitter spotting Brad in Georgetown in D.C 1 hour ago.
Now it makes you to go hmmm. He didn’t travel with Angie to Washington when she had to be there , But when she finished her job there and left the city for an unknown place , He went to the same city she was.
Why didn’t he travel with Angie to D.C if he had a work to do there? Why did he travel to the same city Angie was at different time while he could travel with her and could take care of his business while she was also in the town.
It’s obvious he doesn’t want to spend time with Angie and prefer to travel to places alone and apart from Angie.That tells alot.
Now how are you going to explain this obvious weird action by them? I wonder if those rumors of them living apart is true.

Each week celebrity magazines breathlessly report yet another twist in the Jen-Brad-Angelina love triangle. But where do the stories come from? Are they ever true? And does that even matter?

Pure fabrication by magazines is rare, Navarre maintains. “Coming from hard news, we had this idea that in gossip, everything’s fake. But now I’m on the gossip side, I’m surprised by how most of the time it’s not. You’ll have a little bit of news - a hint. I thought the fight between Angelina and Aniston would be totally fake, but it’s not. Ninety per cent of the time, it comes from something true.” Besides, he says, sounding briefly like a French poststructuralist philosopher, “there is this idea that there is only one truth, and that you have to stick to it. But maybe not.”
The blogosphere has greatly exacerbated this what-is-truth-anyway? approach. At sites such as Gawker and Defamer, Hollywood gossip is breathlessly consumed, but also marinaded in a rich sauce of cynicism. Readers are happy to engage with the narrative - and even buy ironic Team Aniston and Team Jolie T-shirts - without assuming any particular story to be true. The same is surely true of many readers of the weeklies. But the blogs, unlike the magazines, can admit it.
Richard Spencer at In Touch is adamant that quotations attributed to “an insider” in his magazine always come from “someone very close to the celebrity, or someone the celebrity employs - anyone from a bodyguard to a nanny to a friend to a hairstylist”, and that they’re never paid. (They share their gossip, he says, because “it’s human nature”.) But he’s happy to acknowledge that truth can be kaleidoscopic. “Different friends tell different people different things,” he says when I point out blatant contradictions between his magazine and others. “It’s not a question of anyone being wrong. If you were having divorce trouble, one friend could say, ‘Oh, they’re solid, nothing to worry about.’ Another could say: ‘You didn’t see the fight I saw last night. She was crying in the bathroom.’”
“Angelina’s birthday ends in tears,” reports the current edition of In Touch. “A friend” explains that “too much togetherness has taken its toll”. The magazine adds: “While Brad did go to a lot of trouble for Angelina’s 34th - presenting her with a specially commissioned painting of their family, as well as lingerie from Angelina’s favourite store, Agent Provocateur - it wasn’t long before the troubled couple erupted in a fight over Brad’s ex-wife … ‘Things were going fine, and then Angie started accusing Brad of meeting Jen in LA,’ says an associate.”
When you spend too much time poring over celebrity magazines, and interviewing their employees, odd things start to happen to your brain. You catch yourself wondering: might the magazines’ hunger for new storylines somehow exert an influence on reality itself? According to the laws of some strange physics, unstudied by scientists, might the narrative necessity of a Brangelina divorce lead to one actually happening, in real life?
Well, not for now, according to last week’s People, which unsurprisingly offers an entirely different take from In Touch. Angelina’s birthday celebrations, it seems, went flawlessly - and happened not at the couple’s Long Island mansion but on the set of Jolie’s latest film, Salt. (In Touch agrees that Pitt visited the set of Salt, but quotes a “pal” who says “they’re just going through the motions for appearance’s sake”.)
For Mother’s Day, which is celebrated in May in the US, “Brad gave Angelina inscribed jewellery,” People adds. An unnamed friend provides the article’s closing quote: “They are very, very happy.”

Apparently Brad is vacationing alone in L.A and in his Santa barbara’s villa. While Other 4 kids were in NY with their nannies and Angelina was in D.C with 2 of her kids, Brad was in L.A for a weeks.
Brad came back from Basal and came back to L.A instead of D.C where Angie was filming. And he has been in L.A for over 3 weeks alone without kids or Angelina. IT says Angelina and kids are still in NY as schools there are not closed yet and then they will go to France.
There is no proof of Angelina traveling from L.A to D.C and no proof of her coming back to L.A. Whenever Brad arrives or leaves L.A , there are reports or pics of him doing so ,but there hasn’t been any report or pic of Angelina and kids in L.A or of them arriving or leaving.
seriously how can Angelina travel from L.A to another place without any pics or reports prooving that?

Angie then travelled FROM LA to DC for WRD.
