Lycee de Francais
A lot of people have been talking about the school that Maddox attends - the Lycee de Francais. They have been saying that taking Maddox out of school constantly is okay, because he will be attending another branch of the Lycee when he’s in LA. I did a bit of research, and I wasn’t able to find anywhere where it said that the same curriculum was taught in all of their branches. I have contacted the school system, but have not heard back from them yet.
I think you missed the point as well - again, let me stress that I am not Maddox’s parent, and that everything I am saying is just from the point of view of being a mother with a son who is Maddox’s age. I wasn’t worried about the curriculum as much as I was the social interaction. Have we ever seen Maddox have someone over, or has Maddox gone over to someone’s home? Soon he’ll want to start having sleep overs, but how can that happen if he’s constantly changing schools and not having time to get to know everyone?
I’ll give you a “for instance”. My son’s class is extremely small - going into this year they expected 6 students (yes it’s public school - I told you, I live in the wilds of Vermont!). A new student transferred into his first grade. This student is have a very hard time adjusting - he is constantly telling all of the other children that he has everything - for instance, we got the Scholastic flyer recently, and my son came to me and said, “Michael* said that he has EVERY book in the flyer! Isn’t that cool! Michael also said that he has all of those RC toys we see on TV…” I think you see where this is going.
I just worry about Maddox - yes, he has parents that love him more than life itself, which is GREAT, but I worry about any child that is continually moved around - it has got to be extremely hard to adjust. For an excellent post on Angie, head over to Angelina Jolie Watch.

Hey now I have to agree with ya Randi. I remember how hard it was to adjust for me changing schools growing up and GEEZ, if it was that hard for ME, can you imagine what Maddox feels like? Poor guy! Yeah, to all you nay-sayers, he just may have everything he wants in the world, EXCEPT friends!

Please!!!! You don’t know Angie or Maddox or anything about her family or how Maddox adjusts to his environment. All you know is what you read in the tabs and photos you see. Please mind you own business. They are a loving family and it is none of your business what they do. They choose tobe together and not be separated. Good for them. My best friends aremy family.

OMG a new child comes to your new school and HE has problems adjusting so OF COURSE MADDOX will act the same? You didnt even say whether this child moved to many different schools or not/
Every child is different..newsflash. I moved a lot when I was a child. I made lifelong friends in many states and countries.
We have seen pics of MAdd with Angie on her UN work, playing with the children. Maybe they couldnt speak the same language but Madd looked like he was having a great time.
Madd has Adam Pearl as a friend also. He seems the type to make friends easily.
Brad and Angie are not teenagers, they have access to the finest pediatricians in the world. Everyone I have read speaking about the kids say they are happy and well behaved.
Angie said recently that MAddox loves to travel and asks excitedly where they are going next week.
If their children ever have a problem with the traveling, I am sure Angie and Brad will make adjustments.
No one seems to be worrying about other celeb kids..many travel with their kids frequently.
Paul Mccartney and Linda ALWAYS took their kids with them on the road.
Will Smith and wife Jada have put their kids in front of the camera(no criticism of them) and they take their kids with them everywhere too. They are homeschooled(hmm wonder if THEY have friends?) Either Will is working on a film or Jada is, or jada is touring with her rock band.
Double standards for Brad and Angie. Unfair in my opinion.
