Pitt and Norton - Teaming Up Again!

NortonPitt.jpgI remember when, less than a year ago, I finally watched Fight Club. It was amazing - I’m usually able to figure the plot of a movie out fairly quickly (the whole “I see dead people” thing was NO surprise to me), but this one got me until about 10 minutes before the movie wrote the plot out in crayon.

Part of the genius of the movie was the chemistry between Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. The two worked well together, and seemed to light up the screen just like when Brad and Angie worked together (okay - eewwww - but you get what I mean).

Now the duo will be pairing up again! YES! They’re slated to star in State of Play.

Norton will play a congressman whose speedy political rise is threatened by an investigation into the death of his mistress. Pitt plays a politico-turned-journalist whose relationship with the solon is compromised when he oversees his newspaper’s investigation into the murder and develops a relationship with the pol’s estranged wife.

So THIS time, Norton plays the whacko!
