Pregnancy Mentioned at the Oscars
I’m sitting in the living room doing some work on my wonderful laptop (how I lived without one, I have no idea) and my husband, old soul that he is, switched onto the Academy Awards. A few minutes after Jon Stewart came on and announced that he was wrong - there were not two pregnant women in the audience, there were three.
I immediately started wondering (and kind of hoping) if Brad and Angie had made it and I had simply missed the photos…alas…they hadn’t. Jon then announced that Jessica Alba, Kate Blanchette, and Nicole Kidman were pregnant (they showed a still photo for Nicole, which was odd).
“And the baby goes to…” Jon opens an envelope and then says, “Angelina Jolie. The baby goes to Angelina Jolie. Of course, she’s not here tonight - she wanted to be, but its hard to get 17 babysitters on a Sunday.”
Ouch!
But how interesting, that we just have proof YESTERDAY of the pregnancy and its already on an award show…huh! How about that?!

Hello Randi…i knew Angie was somehow gonna be a part of it..one way or another…my gut feeling that’s why i watched the Oscars when i could WAS because i thought they would show clips of past winners since it’s the 80th anniv. and i was right…and then of course, we have that Jon Stewart joke heard around the world…TOO BAD I MISSED SEEING ANGIE IN ANY OF THE CLIPS SHOWN esp the past Oscar winners in a supporting role even though my eyes were glued to the t.v. set. BUMMER
very funny indeed…and it was handled lovingly by Jon Stewart who likes and respects Angie.
I just hope all the other pregnant women at the Oscars were not offended with Jon Stewart’s joke…if they’re not offended in any way, then all is well and i can move on and not get stuck on whether it is appropriate or not…
THE FACT IS…very relevant is ANGELINA that the OSCAR night will not be complete without a mention of her name and the coming of another Jolie-Pitt.

i’m just a lil bummed that i didn’t see Angie’s pix in the clip showing past Oscar winners for supporting role…you don’t have a clip of that by any chance, do you? i must have blinked and missed her although i don’t know how that’s possible coz i was totally staring at the t.v.
